Protect Your Vision with KLY EyeCare

Sunny days are here. From UV protection to the 20-20-20 rule, five simple habits that keep your eyes healthy this season.

Sunglasses on a sandy Aruban beach

April is here, bringing sunny days, outdoor adventures and fresh starts. While you are enjoying the month, don’t forget to give your eyes the attention they deserve, small steps make a big difference.

Protect your eyes from the sun

More sun means more time outdoors on Aruba’s beautiful beaches, but UV exposure raises the risk of cataracts and other problems over time. Wear sunglasses with 100% UVA and UVB protection; if you need prescription sunglasses, we have stylish, protective options in store.

Reduce screen time & digital eye strain

Tired, dry or irritated eyes after hours of screens? Follow the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break and look at something 20 feet away. We also offer lenses designed to ease screen exposure.

Schedule your annual eye exam

Regular exams detect early signs of glaucoma, cataracts and vision changes, even when your eyesight feels fine. Don’t wait for problems to appear.

Eat (and drink) for healthy vision

Vitamins A, C and E and omega-3 fatty acids protect your eyes. Leafy greens, carrots, citrus and fish keep them strong, and stay hydrated; your eyes need moisture too.

Keep contact lenses clean

Wash your hands before touching lenses, use fresh solution daily and replace lenses as recommended. Fresh pairs are always available at the boutique.
